    • Define and use the terms angle, circle, perpendicular line, parallel line, and line segment
    • Identify angles, circles, perpendicular and parallel lines, line segments, and distance along a line

    Students will be able to:
    • Use congruence and similarity criteria for triangles to solve problems and prove relationships.
  4. Problem Solving with Volume
    Students will be able to:
    • Compare and contrast cylinders, pyramids, cones and spheres
    • Find volume given different units of length
    • Find missing dimensions given the volume

Number Sense Level E

  1. Broadening Use of Real Numbers
    Students will be able to:
    • Use the properties of exponents to rewrite expressions involving
      radicals and rational exponents
  2. Reasoning Quantitatively using Units and Appropriate Levels of Precision
    Students will be able to:
    • Use units as a way to understand problems and to guide the solution of
      multi-step problems
    • Choose and interpret units consistently in formulas
