The English language arts/literacy (ELA)section of the opens in a new window College and Career Readiness Standards covers reading, writing, speaking and listening, and language skills from a foundational level to the college-ready level. Learners are expected to build knowledge and analytical skills by working with, and citing evidence from, complex texts. Math Standards and Resources
The Mathematics section of the opens in a new window College and Career Readiness Standards sets challenging mathematics expectations for adult learners across number sense, data and statistics, geometry, and algebra domains. Through the key shifts and Standards for Mathematical Practice, the CCRS focus deeply on critical thinking, reasoning and persistence in problem solving, and conceptual understanding.
